Well, last night was our last show of the tour in Montreal at the Barfly. Opening the show was some great Montreal bands. BURLS and HALF MOON RUN. Check them out.
Thanks to everybody who came out to the shows and yelled, screamed, drank, cheered us on and bought our music as we stumbled our way accross Canada in that most flamboyant van of ours. Also wanted to say thanks to all those kind people who welcomed us into their homes, fed us and gave us a bed. We are so grateful. Also, thanks to the bands and musicians we played with: Grouper, Julia Kent, C'mon, United Steel Workers Of Montreal, Foon Yap, The Idlers, Von Krippen, Sarah Wheeler, The Modelos, The Hunting Horns, Burls, Half Moon Run, The Boudoirs, Chorus of VS. If I've missed any I apologize. ...And thanks to these folks also: Sheila at the Apollo, all the folks at WAVELENGTH in Toronto, Ehren at Little Mountain Gallery, Jud and the 3 speed crew in TO, Dallas, Derrick, Mike for screaming and cheering us on and Tara for cheering, screaming and climbing over the bar to get us beers and playing along with us by way of last call bell. You folks rule. We miss you already. But now we are tired and now we must sleep. See you in october on the next tour.

Well, great news folks. The tour is booked and we are preparing for it as I write. The first show is in Montreal at the Shaika Cafe on May 28th. All dates are posted here on the website and on all our pages: myspace, cbc radio 3 etc. Another great announcemnet is that drummer and longtime comrade Joe Fiola will be joining us for about half the tour in which we are very stoked about. After the tour we are headed right into the studio to lay down material for a full length album that we plan on releasing in the near future. It will be available on vinyl, CD, Digitally. A 7" vinyl, to tide one over, is in the works also. We have many exciting things coming in the near future and we will be touring like mad from now on. TDL.

Sorry for the delay in news updates but Jim ventured off on a journey to Mexico to find solitude and inspiration for new material. Many broken paradises were vistited and many lonely beaches were slept on. The bus through Mexico was rough and dusty. The cactuses stood high like green soldiers with spiked armour. The guns came out after many shots of mescal and pulke. But now the dust has cleared, the snow is falling here in Montreal and everything is back to normal. Please keep your eyes peeled for summer tour dates being announced throughout the winter and spring. For all people living in the USA please keep your ears open for our songs on your local college radio stations and if you don't hear them call them up and request it. We have plans to tour throughout the USA in the future. We will keep you posted as to when and where. Thanks to all of you who have given support to us on cbc radio 3. Our playlisted, fans, and listens have been growing on the website and we appreciate this very much. Aside from touring we will also be working on a full length album to be recorded sometime in the late summer/early fall.
We cannot announce a release date as of yet but we will let you know as soon as we can hammer one down. We will definitely be showcasing some new material on tour and the good news is that our violist Jill Winzoski will be touring with us for all tours from this point forward. Also we will always announce on this site if and when any other musicians will be joining us on any tour dates. TDL.

Our EP is now available for airplay at all college radio stations in Canada. Please request us at your local station. For all you radio hosts out there if you like what we do please spin our songs on your show.
You can now download our Song "Ghost Of A Thousand Battles" for free, in a file format of your choice. We will be embarking on a tour in November! This fall tour will feature our song catalogue at it's most intimate and personal as the two main songwriters Jim Demos and Alex Janusz will perform as a duo for all dates. Dates are as follows:

Nov. 2nd @ The Spill - Peterborough
Nov. 3rd @ The Mansion - Kingston
Nov. 4th @ Strega Cafe - St. Catherines
Nov. 5th @ C'est What - Toronto
Nov. 6th @ Avant Garde Bar - Ottawa
Nov. 7th @ Bar Populaire - Montreal

Jill Winzoski is unable to join us due to her intensive studies in the art of sword swallowing. We are restricted from making contact with her at this time due to the stringent rules and codes of her teachers. We were granted the information that she will be back in time for our summer tour across the country of Canada.

We will be performing at The Academy on Tuesday June 9th, 2009 at 10pm. This night is called Village People night and how it works is people who work at one of the many local buisnesses in the village will get a discount on food and drinks.

We have been working on our EP for awhile now and are proud to say that the recording end of it is done. It is now in the mixing and mastering stages. It will soon be ready and for sale online, for digital download and in physical cd form. We are quite happy with what we have put together although it is just the beggining of what is to come in the future. We will have a demo version of a new song online shortly so keep a look-out for that. Hope to see you all on June 9th at 10pm.

The performance at gordies was great. The crowd was very attentive and of all ages. From 8-80. The acoustic set went over very well. We will continue to bring more songs to the world in acoustic form. Thanks to all who came out to the performance. If you liked what you saw don't forget to sign up for our mailing list which is located on our contact page. This will keep you informed about when and where we are performing and other happenings since we tend to be a little quiet about it.

We would like to announce that we will be releasing an EP within the next couple of months. We are going into the studio this week and hopefully all goes well. Check back here to see the posting of the EP release info.

In addition to the ep, the 2 compositions posted on the media page are set to be remixed and mastered so look out for that. Also, we just wanted to thank all the people who have, by chance, heard us jamming in the many places we do, who have seeked out our name and sent us kind words of encouagment and interest in the music. It means alot to us and helps restore our belife in what we create. We appreciate this very much. Thats all for now. See you at the next show.
